“Honor Coach” Campaign: Recognize Your Coach of High-Impact

Jan 3, 2022

The University of Florida Institute for Coaching Excellence is looking to recognize coaches of high-impact across the United States and globally. Through a donation of any size in support of the five foundational pillars of the Institute of Coaching Excellence, you can recognize the coach from your upbringing who made a significant positive impact in your development on our website!

The Institute for Coaching Excellence is the first and only program within the nation’s top-five public universities dedicated to coaching and coaching education.

ICE promotes holistic and sustainable athlete development, well-being, and excellence through athlete-centered coaching platforms.

We are committed to investing in the professional, personal, and psychosocial development of sport professionals that directly affect the development of athletes. This can include on-field sport coaches, athletic administrators, coach developers, and athlete development specialists.

The Five Pillars:

  • Pillar 1: Athlete-Development
  • Pillar 2: High-Performance Coaching
  • Pillar 3: DEI + Belonging in Sport
  • Pillar 4: Coaching for Moral Character/Social-Emotional Well-Being
  • Pillar 5: Strategic Partnerships with Organizations Doing Good

There are close to 4 million sport coaches (paid and unpaid) in the United States alone, and it is our goal to provide professional development education, training, workshops, podcasts for coaches, schools, and sport organizations looking to maximize their impact for good on the next generation of leaders through the vehicle of sport.

To recognize your coach, or to find out more about the work that we are committed to at the Institute for Coaching Excellence, email Pete Paciorek and include your coach’s name, school (current or former), and hometown.
