Kevin Carr sat down with Stacey Garcia to dive into her past, including stories about the importance of her parents motivating her throughout her childhood, how she found her passion for sports, and what led to her numerous different roles as a Talent Producer for well-known clients like Shaquille O’Neal and CBS for Super Bowl 50.
Prior to college, Garcia was not interested in pursuing a career in sports, but after leaving home for UCLA and attending football and basketball events at UCLA, Garcia found a passion for sports and working in the sporting industry.
In the podcast, she mentioned that she was the first person in her extended family to leave home for college and receive a Bachelor’s Degree (in Sociology), and she credited her mother and father for pushing her to be successful since she was a child.
Now, Garcia has found herself in a leadership role as the Senior Director of Athlete Brand Partnerships at The SpringHill Company, an entertainment brand that unites three different companies created by Lebron James and Maverick Carter.
Garcia spoke about her experience working with Lebron and Carter, and the leadership that they bring to The SpringHill Company.
